Mae Florence Baker

Mae Florence Baker, age 81, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Bartow. Born October 30, 1941, in Hillsborough County, she was the daughter of James Bryant and Marion Veleria (Maxwell) Edmondson. Mrs. Baker was a Painter for Baker's Painting in Fort Meade for over 27 years. She was a longtime member of the Church of God of Bartow. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Starlon "Leroy" Baker and son, Glenn Baker. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: John Baker (Diana) of Mulberry, Tim Baker of Fort Meade and Penny Horn of Bartow. She also leaves behind her sister, Mildred Parker of Homeland, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25th from 10am to 11am at the Church of God of Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church.
