Luna Jenkins

Mrs. Luna Pate Jenkins, age 84, of Bartow, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland. A native of Yancey County, NC, Mrs. Jenkins has been a resident of Bartow for 12 years, moving from North Carolina. Mrs. Jenkins was an clothing inspector for Burlington Industries in Forest City, NC for many years. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband Burwell Bridges Jenkins. She is survived by her son: Jack & wife Margaret Jenkins of Bartow; 2 daughters: Alice & husband C.B. Garrison of Orlando; & Jean Wall of Clermont; 3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
