Luis F. Rodriguez

Bartow - Luis F. Rodriguez, age 71, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. He was born September 19, 1950 in Santiago, Cuba. He immigrated to the US in 1962 with his family at the age of 11. Growing up in Miami, he attended High School at Miami Edison and started a flower business after graduation. He then moved to the Indian River area in the early 80’s and worked in the citrus industry as the chemical foreman. Mr. Rodriguez was a resident of Bartow since 1991, moving from South Florida. He was an Automobile Salesman for Bartow Ford for over 20 years. He enjoyed making people laugh and always had a joke for every occasion. He loved family, college football, and discussing politics. He was survived by his son; Christopher L. Rodriguez [Tiffany], Winter Haven; two sisters: Mercedes "Mimi" Frean, Bartow and Conchi Ossa [Jim], Gainesville and a granddaughter: Vayda Rodriguez.
