Lucy Mae Ellis

Mrs. Lucy Mae Ellis, 84, of Bartow, 12/13/08, at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven. Mrs. Ellis was born July 10, 1924 in Bellgreen, Alabama. She has lived in Bartow since 1939 moving from Alabama. Mrs. Ellis was employed by Citrus Hill as a citrus sectionizer. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel G. Ellis, Jr. She is survived by her Three Daughters,Elaine Creech of Bartow, Philena K. Barnhill of Homeland and Elizabeth "Libby" Parlier of Bartow. One Son, Mr. Gary Ellis of Bradenton. One Sister, Dorothy Duke of Bartow. One Brother, Tommy Edward of Georgia. 12 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Grt-Great Grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, Fla., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2008 . Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL
