Cocoa Beach - Lucille M. Stockton, 80, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. Lucille was born August 28, 1935 in Sebring, FL, and graduated from Fort Meade High School in 1953 where she played varsity basketball. She was a Homemaker and an active member of Cocoa Beach Garden Club. Lucille loved to watch baseball and her favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays and the Florida State Seminoles. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis & Lorene Ivey and two sisters Beth Johnson & Caroline Ivey. Lucille is survived by her husband of 60 years William Stockton; daughter Susan Barrett & husband Ben and son Dan Stockton & wife Christine; sister Thelma Chambers and three brothers Lloyd Ivey, Bill Ivey & David Ivey; four grandchildren Danielle, Anna, Kanani & Sam; and seven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 10 to 11 am at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Thursday, July 14, 2016, at McLean Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ivey officiating. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.
