Lucille P. Parker

Lucille P. Parker, 94, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of pneumonia. Born January 13, 1919 in Elkton,N.C., Mrs. Parker was a resident of Lakeland for 66 years, moving from Tampa. For 52 years she had a small cattle ranch and enjoyed the cattle. She was a life long homemaker. After her son and daughter graduated, she worked as a part time salesperson with Diana Shop & Fabric King in Lakeland . She attended the Willow Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Parker . Mrs. Parker is survived by a son, Terry Parker & wife Barbara of Lakeland; daughter, Cheryl Haggerty of Ellenton , FL ; step son, Ronnie Parker of Seffener , FL ; 7 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Willow Oak Baptist Church, Willow Oak. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the church.
