Louise B. Yost

Mrs. Louise B. Yost, age 97, of Bartow passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale of natural causes. Born November 1, 1913 in Indianapolas, IN. to Oliver Badger & Flossie Page Bymaster. Mrs Yost was raised in North Salem, IN. before moving to St. Petersburg, FL. She moved to Bartow in 1954 with her husband, John Yost. Mrs. Yost was a Life member of the Bartow Garden Club having held many offices in the club. She was a member of the Bartow Women's Club, the Pilot Club, the United Methodist Women of Asbury United Methodist Church & the Audubon Society. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 72 years: John C. Yost. She is survived by two sons: John "Bobby" Yost of Lakeland; Donald C. & wife Dixie Yost of Bartow; five grandchildren: Danny & wife Jami Yost; Dee Dee & husband David Wright all of Bartow; Terry & Christopher Yost both of Lakeland; and Greg Yost of Raligh, NC along with 10 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday December 20, 2010, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home.
