Louise Powell

Louise Powell, age 79, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2022 in Auburndale. Born April 8, 1943, in Georgia she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mageline (Braddy) Carroll. Louise worked as a Food Service Technician for the Polk County School Board for many years until her retirement. She attended the Bethel Church of God in Bartow. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Powell and her daughter Linda Gail Williams. She is survived by her children: Connie Powell, Ronnie Powell and Gene Powell (Lynn). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 1st from 1pm to 2pm at Bethel Church of God, 4725 Fighter Road in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the church.
