Louise W. Jackson

Louise W. Jackson, age 89, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Lakeland. Born January 6, 1927 in Colquitt, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leathan and Chloe (Davis) Watson. Louise was a homemaker and her passion was cooking for her family. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie D. Jackson, and an infant son Willie Steve Jackson. She is survived by a loving family that includes her six children: Rickey Jackson (Tammy), Samalene Muir (Rick), Wanda Tyson (Michael), Eyvonne Landon (Jack), Glenda Mears (Skip) and Sherry Warren (Justin B. Smith). She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:00am at Turning Point Worship Center, 1400 East Georgia Street in Bartow.
