Lou Bloodworth Smith, 54, of Fort Meade, FL, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Bartow Regional Medical Center from heart failure. She was born November 19, 1959 in Wauchula, FL. Lou was a loving wife & mom, she also worked for Polk County School System and worked many other jobs in her community. She was preceded in death by her parents Barrington & Ava Bloodworth, sister Doris Smothers and three brothers Ronnie Bloodworth, Charles Lanier and David Bloodworth. She is survived by her husband, Lindsey Smith. Seven daughters, Christina L Smith, Jessica N Bowles & husband Steven, Rebecca D Smith, Rebecca N Smith, Jacqulyn Renee Smith, Hannah C Smith and Sierra A Smith. Six sons, Gregory A Smith, Phillip James Smith, Blake E Smith, Robert G Smith, David A Smith and Ian A Smith. Sister Nita Baker & husband Cas and brother Aaron Lanier. Eight grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Conner, Layton, Alydia and Layla. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Monday, August 11, 2014 at McLean Funeral, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S Seminole Ave in Fort Meade, FL, Phillip Williams, Bill Whitener & Larry Barrentine officiating.
