Lou Alice Hayes

Lou Alice Hayes, 69, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Bartow Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure. Born January 4, 1942 in Pelham, Ga, Mrs Hayes has been a resident of Bartow since 1955, moving from Cairo, GA. She attended the Vineyard Church of God in Bartow. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Hayes. She is survived by her son: Dallas R Hayes of Bartow; daughter: Crystal Gail Hayes of Brandon, FL; two step-sons: Richard Hayes Jr. & Stuart Hayes, both of New Port Richey, FL; four brothers, Earl Loyd, Don Loyd, & Charles Loyd, all of Bartow; and Thomas Loyd of Massillon, OH; three sisters, Shirley Wetherington of Mulberry; Diane Key & Jane Palmer both of Bartow. Family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Vineyard Church of God, 490 W. Vine Street Bartow. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
