Ocklawaha, FL - Lorraine T. Willis, 94, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Ocala, FL of natural causes. Born July 31, 1919 in Meigs, GA, Mrs. Willis was a resident of Ocklawaha for 26 years, moving from Homeland. FL. She was a member of the Homeland Baptist Church. Mrs. Willis is preceded in death by her husband: Dick Willis. She is survived by two sons: James E. Willis, Ocklawaha, & John M. Willis, Anthony, FL; two daughters: Bonnie M. Weldon, Bartow & Martha C. Wooten, Ocklawaha; two brothers: Leon Tucker, Bartow & Ray Tucker, Fort Meade. 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren & 10 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 6- 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Homeland Cemetery, Homeland.
