Lorene Dees

Lorene Dees, age 90, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 in Ocala, FL. Born June 16, 1924 in Hazel Green, AL, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Campbell. Mrs. Dees was a former resident of Bartow and had attended Alturas First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Dees in 2005. Lorene is survived by a loving family that includes two sons, Kenneth Dees (Sharon) and David Dees (Darlene) all of Ocala. She also leaves behind her sister, Melva Stinnett of Port Orange, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow Friday, January 16th at 11:00am at Alturas First Baptist Church, 7690 Poinsettia Road in Alturas.
