Loren Ronald Stokes

Fort Meade - Loren Ronald Stokes, age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was born December 12, 1947 in Bartow, FL to Harold & Mary Stokes, Loren was a Salesman before he retired. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Florida Gators. Loren spent many years coaching baseball and football, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold & Mary Stokes, three brothers Wallace Stokes, Leamon Stokes, Dalvin Stokes and sister Marcella Collier. Loren is survived by his son Ricky Stokes & wife Karen of Fort Meade, daughter Rhonda Criss & husband Jeff of Orlando, son Randy Stokes & wife Kelly of Lakeland, brother Wayne Stokes & wife Becky of Fort Meade, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL.
