Lois V. Orth

Lois V. Orth, age 89, passed away at home in Bartow,Tuesday, August 15, 2017. She was known as "Grams" to many. Born June 30, 1928 in Ohio County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence G. and Lucy (Downing) Atkinson. Lois retired from the Ohio County School Board in West Virginia. She taught sixth grade for over 34 years. She was a member and choir director at Triadelphia Methodist Church in Triadelphia, West Virginia for many years. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harold P. Orth, and her son Raymond Orth. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Donna Roberson (Nathan) of Bartow, Robert Orth (Jen) Washington, PA, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Memorial services will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
