Lois Lucia Lott Losh

Lois Lucia Lott Losh, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born on May 25, 1925 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Alfred and Marie (Glasscock) Owens. At an early age Lois was adopted by the late Kenneth O’Neal and Bertha Lott. Mrs. Losh was a loving mother, homemaker and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Her hobbies included playing cards with her Pinochle group and the Merry Makers Social Club. She was also a member of the Bartow Lioness Club and the Bartow Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Losh is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Losh. She is survived by two daughters; Bertha Ann Losh "Bert" Quint (Dave) of Cincinnati, OH , Mary Jane Losh Sanchez (Carlos) of Bartow, son Charles Richard "Rick" Losh Jr. (Glenda) of Bartow, grandchildren; Jarrod, C.J., J.D., Maryann, Amanda, and Dale. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren; Caily, Nevaeh, half-brother Haywood Owens and half-sister Sarah Boren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14th from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the First United Methodist Church, 310 South Broadway in Bartow. Memorial services will follow at 11:30AM at the church. Donations memorials may be made to Bartow First United Methodist Church or Compassionate Care Hospice of Bartow.
