Linton Sloan, Jr.

Bartow - Linton Sloan, Jr., age 78, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021. He was born March 14, 1943 in Bartow, FL to Floyd Linton, Sr. & Marie Sloan. He served in the US Marine Corps. Linton was a Corporate Real Estate Attorney. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow where he served as a Deacon and was instrumental in starting the First Baptist Church Food Pantry. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Caren Sloan, two sons Steve Sloan & wife Shannon and Philip Sloan & wife Julie. Five grandchildren Lexi, PJ, Sammy, Stephen and Cameron, and sister Sheila Cunningham. Family will receive friends Friday, July 30, 2021 from 10:00 to11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Friday at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
