Linda W. Wolfe

Bartow- Linda W. Wolfe, age 68, died Wed, Nov 25, 2009, of respiratory failure at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born April 15, 1941 in Enterprise, AL, Mrs. Wolfe has been a resident of Bartow since 1945. She was a Medical Lab Technician for Winter Haven Hospital for many years. She was a member of the American Medical Technologists, serving 6 years on the National Board of Directors. She was past president, secretary and editor of the Florida Society of American Medical Technologists. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband: Charles Wolfe of Bartow; 2 sons: Chuck Wolfe of Blue Ridge, GA; Jay & wife Jenni Wolfe of Bartow; 2 brothers: Kenneth & wife Linda Watkins of Brandon; Tom & wife Beverly Watkins of Melbourne; sister: Marti Downs of Nashville, TN; granddaughter: Lindsey Wolfe of Osteen, Fla. Family will receive friends Sunday, Nov 29, 4-6 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Monday Nov. 30, 10:00 am at the funeral home.
