Linda Touchtone Walker

Linda Touchtone Walker, age 69, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Lakeland. Born June 23, 1947 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Theron Crum and Jessie Marie (Dees) Touchtone. Linda worked for many years as the head of food service at Sunrise Christian School in Lakeland. Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her son James Kenneth Ward and her brother Gerald Wayne Touchtone. She is survived by a loving family, that includes her husband Allen D. Walker of Plant City, her four children: Lucinda Denise Ward of Plant City, Danielle Keen (Elden) of Palm Coast, Timmy Joseph Basel and Krystal Rogers both of Plant City. Linda also leaves behind her two sisters: Tricia Touchtone Sowell (Robert) of Christiansburg, VA, Sylvia Touchtone Putnam (Ben) of Auburndale, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 30th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, August 31st at 10:00am at the funeral home chapel.
