Bartow – Linda D. Terrell, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on August 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on August 6, 1944, in Plant City, Florida, Linda lived a life rooted in kindness, service and devotion to family. Linda dedicated 35 years of her career with Hillsborough County. After retiring, she continued her commitment to the community by working for over 15 years in the Transportation Department of Polk County School Board. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Terrell, her parents Hazel and Elev McCullough, and her brothers, Jerald McCullough and Buddy McCullough. Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through her children: Randy Terrell (Tiffany) of Fort Worth, TX; Ryan Terrell of Bartow; and Tracie Utley (John) of Riverview. She was a proud grandmother to John Utley, III and Kaylee Utley of Riverview. Linda is also survived by her sister-in-law Delores LoPresto (Jack) of Dandridge, TN; brother-in-law Richard Terrell of Springfield, OH; and nephews Wayne Roe and David LoPresto.
