Linda Thrailkill Sherrer

Bartow - Linda Thrailkill Sherrer, age 82, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026. She was born March 8, 1944 in Bartow, FL to Charles & Mildred Thrailkill. Linda was a Clerk for the Polk County Clerk of Courts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfeild, where she taught Sunday School, was active in many church positions and activities. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and son Mike Sherrer. She is survived by her husband James "Red" Sherrer of Bartow, son Scott Sherrer & wife Michelle, brother Sonny Thrailkill & wife Rhonda, granddaughter Katie Sherrer and great granddaughter Chipper Halcomb. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
