Linda Croft Mizell

Bartow - Linda Croft Mizell, 71, went to be with her Lord & Savior Wednesday, August 7, 2019. Linda was born October 16, 1947 in Tampa, FL, She was a Supervisor of Civil Process for the Polk County Sheriff's Office for 36 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her father; Fred "Pete" Croft, Sr and brother; Fred "Bucky" Croft, Jr. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years Thomas "Tom" Mizell of Bartow, daughter; Dana Merritt & husband Bill of Jacksonville, son; Gary Mizell of Bartow, grandchildren; Ryan Holle and Julia Merritt, mother; Eva Smith of Tampa, five sisters; Janice Mintzer (Derrick), Lucy Moye (Carrol), Becky Carlisle, Margie Sharp (Doug) and Johnnie Williamson (Tim). Family will receive friends Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Bartow. Funeral service will follow Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 410 E Church Street in Bartow, FL 33830.
