Linda Miller

Linda Miller, aged 79, of Bartow, went home to be with her Lord on December 3, 2025.  A proud native of Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Robert Eugene and Dorothy Virginia Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Gene Hill, who was killed in the line of duty in Viet Nam. She was blessed with a second marriage to Jerry Lee Miller, who passed in 2021.

Linda is survived by her daughter Tammy Putnam (Abel), grandson Benjamin Putnam (Peyton), stepsons Gary Miller and Greg Miller (Sandra), and stepdaughter Brenda Kleck-Duncan (Jeff).

In addition to her husbands and parents, Linda was predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Milligan and Judy Phillips and grandson, Nicholas Miller. She is survived by her brother Joe Phillips (Lois), sister Virginia Hayes, and many other beloved family and friends.

Linda retired as a teacher from the Polk County Schools where she developed many lifelong friends, especially her dear friends Terri Lowers and Judy Huguenard. Linda loved her Churches in Bartow and Sun City Center and looked forward to being with her Lord.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 8th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the sanctuary.
