Linda S. Jackson

Linda S. Jackson, 68 of Fort Meade, FL passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013. She was born, January 3, 1945 in Gainesville, FL. Linda retired from the Polk County Sheriff's Office after 19 years as a Training Clerk. She was a member of Fort Meade Worship Center and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Jackson & daughter, Rebecca Patten. She is survived by her sons, Michael Jackson of Dallas, TX and Troy Bell of Rome, GA. Daughters-Annette DeZutter of Dover, FL and Suzette Toth of Orlando, FL; Father-John Powers of Fort Meade, FL; Brothers-Darrell Powers of Lakeland, FL; Tom Powers of Jefferson, GA and Bruce Powers of Wauchula, FL; Sisters-Sharon Mathis of Pavo, GA and Jeanna Odum of Ochlocknee, GA. Ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade located at 307 East Brodway in Fort Meade, FL with the Pastor Dan Brockman and Rev.
