Linda E. Christensen

Linda E. Christensen, 62, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, at Bartow Regional Medical Center of cardiac arrest. Born April 4, 1948 in Mobile, AL, Ms. Christensen has been a resident of Bartow 7 yrs, moving from Auburndale. She was a registered nurse with Bartow Regional Medical Center for 5 yrs. She was a retired Captain with the US Army Reserve. She is survived by her wife: Susan Aubin; two sons: Dr. Dale Christensen of Tuscaloosa , AL, Roy Christensen of Las Vegas, NV; daughter: Monica Brown of Hurley, MS; 3 sisters: Claudia Ellard of Hurley, MS; Georgia Raby of Alabama; & Gwynn Wolfstar of Boulder, CO; brother: Keith Ellard of Folsom, CA & 9 grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2010, 2-3 pm at at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Services will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
