Lillie E. Glisson

Lillie E. Glisson, age 75, of Bartow, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. Born May 2, 1933 in Gordon, AL. Mrs. Glisson has been a resident of Bartow since 1954, moving from Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Glisson was a retired personnel manager for the Woolworth Department Store in Bartow She was a former member of the Nazarene Church Board; former Sunday School Teacher & Choir Member. She is preceded in death by her son: Neal Glisson; brother: John Blanchard & sister: Lucile Allen. She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Winton J. Glisson of Bartow; daughter: Pat Hewett; grandson: Christopher Parker; granddaughter: Crystal Parker & great grandson: Nathen Parker all of Bartow. Family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 am at the Church of the Nazarene, 950 S.
