Lillian P. Anderson, age 93, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow. Born December 25, 1921 in Tooele, UT, Mrs. Anderson was a resident of Bartow since 1951, moving from Utah. She was a legal secretary with Polk County Attorneys, George Carr, Monte Tillis, and John Dewell, She finished her career working for John Dewell, who was a Circuit Court Judge for many years. She was a member of the Bartow Lioness Club. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Idmon "Andy" Anderson, Jr., Bartow; daughter: Mary Leigh Kragh,(Dan) Lakeland; two grandsons: Michael Kragh (Jill) and Shane Kragh; two great grandsons: Anderson Kragh and Dominick Gard; one great granddaughter: Nataleigh Kragh. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5800 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland 33813. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Contributions may be made to the Rohr Nursing Home Foundation, 2120 Marshall Edwards Dr. Bartow, 33830 or Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, P.O. Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064, or charity of choice.
