Bartow - Lila Peters, 82, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was born January 9, 1930 in Tampa, FL. Lila was a resident of Bartow since 1951 moving from Tampa. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd Peters. She is survived her two daughters; Pamela Hope & husband Charles Edward and Gloria Greer both of Bartow. Sister; Joyce Voorhees of Charleston, SC. Five grandchildren; Adam Roper, Dana Winfree, Elise Greer, Troy Hope and Tracey Lott. Twelve great grandchildren. Graveside service will be Tuesday 10:00 AM, June 19, 2012 at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. Pastor Phillip Hofstetter is officiating. Condolences to the family at www.WhiddenMcLeanfuneralhome.com
