Lewis Kelly Gassett, Jr.

Lewis Kelly Gassett, Jr., age 34, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1974 in Bartow, FL. Lewis was a mechanic and was an avid fisherman, he especially enjoyed fishing trips with his brother Tony and his Uncle Bo. In his younger years he was a member of the Boy Scouts. He is survived by his mother Judith Butler Newsome of Fort Meade. Two Sisters; Michelle Gassett of Tennessee and April Gassett of Fort Meade. One Brother; Tony Butler of Fort Meade. His Nanny Chrystelle Butler of Fort Meade. Three Uncles; Ermage "Bo" Butler, Hank Butler, and James Butler all of Fort Meade. Three Nieces Tiffany & Brittany Wright of Fort Meade, and Layla Straight of Lakeland. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.
