Fort Meade - Leta Skipper Matthews, 67 passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Leta was born February 25, 1948 in Sebring, FL, She was a Retired Customer Service Representative for the Telephone Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her sister Caroline Skipper. She is survived by her husband Paul Matthews, daughter Angie Ivey & husband Sydney, son Bobby Matthews, two grandsons Trevor Ivey & Bryson Ivey and two brothers Wendell Skipper & Kelvin Skipper. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, 307 East Broadway. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice.
