Lester Smith

Mr. Lester H. Smith, 80, of Bartow, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, of heart failure at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Mr. Smith owned and operated L. H. Smith Construction Company, Bartow for over 45 years. He was a member and Deacon Emirates of Wildwood Baptist Church where he had 37 years perfect attendance. He was Sunday School Superintendent at the church for many years. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his son: Tommy Smith. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Carrie B. Smith of Bartow. Daughter: Bonnie McLin & husband Gary of Bartow; Son: Ronald Smith of Bartow; Sister: Marie Fye of Jasper, Fla. Family will receive friends Wednesday March 28, 10-11 AM at Wildwood Baptist Church, 1120 S. Woodlawn Avenue, Bartow. Services will follow at 11 AM at the Church.
