Leslie Billie Fogle

Leslie "Billie" Fogle 86 of Bartow passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Palm Terrace Hospice in Lakeland. Born in Hayes, North Carolina she moved to Bartow in 1989 from Baltimore, MD where she owned and operated the Check Cab Company for numerous years. She was a member of the Lake Garfield Baptist Church and the Motor Maids of America, a all womens precision motorcycle riding association. Billie was preceded in death a husband Harold Placide and is survived by a daughter Joanne Mauk of Constantia, NY. Two grandchildren Sherrie Hutchinson of Baltimore, MD and Andrea Ulrich of Ellicott City, MD. Three great grandchildren Vincent Riley Kochan of Baltimore, MD; Wade Charles Ulrich and Wyatt Rowan Ulrich both of Eliicott City, MD. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29th from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with services starting at 11am.
