Leonora (Lee) Davis Roebke, 92, of Bartow, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 following a brief illness. She was born in Abita Springs, Louisiana, and grew up in New Orleans where she graduated from John McDonough High School. After marrying Edgar B. Roebke in 1945, they moved to Miami, Florida. While there, she worked at Burdines Department Store, JC Penney, and from 1967-81, worked for The Keyes Co., Realtors, as an administrator in its headquarters. Following her husband’s retirement in 1981, they moved to Floral Lakes in Bartow where she worked for the developer, and later Nelson Associates, selling homes in the community. She was a long-time member of the Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Directors of the Floral Lakes Homeowners Association. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Edgar B. Roebke, her grandson, Adam J. Roebke, and her fiancé, Dr. Mike Keedy. She is survived by her sons, Donn (Sandy) of Arlington, Virginia, and Boyd (Linda) of Ocoee, her daughter, Susan Schans (Steve) of Tallahassee, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
