Leon L. Tucker

Bartow - Leon L. Tucker, age 94, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. He was born January 12, 1930 in Brewster, FL to William & Dollie Tucker. Leon served in the US Army during the Korean war. He was a Mechanic for IMC Phosphate Company. He was a past member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Highland City. Leon was preceded in death by his wife LaSandra Tucker and son Jerry L. Tucker. He is survived by his son Danny L Tucker of Bartow, brother Ray Tucker of Fort Meade, granddaughter Tanya Tucker of Bartow, great granddaughter Kaitlyn and great-great granddaughter Eliana. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 at Turning Point Worship Center, 1400 E Georgia Street in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 at Turning Point Worship Center. Burial will be held at Homeland Cemetery in Homeland, FL. The Family request for everyone to wear Orange & Blue to honor Leon's love for the Florida Gators. Memorial contributions may be made to the Polk County Bully Project.
