Leon Sutton

Bartow - Leon Sutton, age 90, passed away January 16, 2024, at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1933, in Chattanooga, TN. He was a Sales Representative for Lance. He was a member of First Baptist Church Bartow, American Federation of Musicians and Masonic Lodge 711. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Sutton, sister Jean Miller and brother Jimmy Sutton. He is survived by a loving family that includes his daughters Yvonne Grimes (Jerry) & Sheila Conrad (Jerry) of Bartow, grandchildren Traci Allen, Shannan Hall & Elise Albritton, 6 great grandchildren and brothers Vernon Sutton of Ooltewah, TN & Donnie Sutton, Decatur, TN. Family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
