Leola Baisden

Mrs. Leola "Monk" Baisden, age 84, passed away Wed. May 7, 2008 from respiratory failure. Born in Coffee County, GA on Jan. 20, 1924, Mrs. Baisden was a longtime resident of Highland City. Leola had formerly worked at Citrus World as a sectionizer. She was also a member of Sonrise Assembly of God in Highland City. Mrs. Baisden is preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Baisden and is survived by a loving family that includes three sons; Johnnie Baisden (Edna), Butch Baisden (Janet), and Laverl Baisden all of Highland City. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sat. May 10th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Sonrise Assembly of God 1015 Central Ave. S.E. in Highland City. Services will follow 11:00 AM at the church.
