Leo Hughey

Bartow - Leo Hughey, age 89, passed away January 22, 2024, at his residence in Bartow. He was born on January 29, 1934, in Honesdale, PA. He worked as a Truck Driver for Middle Creek Quarry. He was a USAF Airman of the Month for Hickman Air Base. He was a Volunteer Fireman for Honesdale Fire Co. He enjoyed yard work, NASCAR, and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Hughey and sisters Jean Knorr & Helen Solano. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Kimble of Bartow, FL , granddaughter Samantha Branca of Shoreline, WA and grandson Michael Kimble of Mount Cobb, PA. Family will receive friends Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
