Lela Mae (Albritton) Ballard, age 93, of Wauchula, FL, died Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Palm Gardens Center in Winter Haven, FL. Mrs. Ballard was born April 30, 1914 in Wauchula. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceeded in death by her husband Lilburn Ballard. She is survived by her daughter, -Jesse Louise Chestnut of Fort Meade, FL. Two Granddaughters- Linda Ann Upthegrove of Bartow, FL and Georgina "Ena" Chestnut of Titusville, FL One Grandson Jesse James Chestnut of Fort Meade, FL. 7 Great-Grandchildren 1 Grt Great-Grandchild Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. The visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 9 to 10 am at McLean Funeral Home. The Service will follow at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
