Laurie E. "Bert" Willis, 65, of Bartow, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born October 6, 1943 in Winter Haven, FL, Mr. Willis has been a resident of Bartow 5 years, moving from Winter Haven. He was a auto mechanic for many years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his brother: Lindell L. "Roy" Willis; nephew: Raymond L. Willis of Winter Haven; three nieces: Teresa Nichols of Polk City; Stacy L. Willis & Debra Willis both of Bartow.
