Bartow -Lauren Mitchell , age 21, passed away July 21, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She was born on June 8, 2002, in Bartow, FL. She attended Jean O'Dell Learning Center. She was a member of New Beginning Church of God. She enjoyed being around people, church, and music. She will be remembered for bringing joy to others through her enchanting and beautiful smile. She is survived by a loving family that includes her father Jay Mitchell II, mother Tamera Staton, siblings Devin Jackson, Lily Mitchell & Hailey Mitchell, grandparents Roy & Jeannie Mitchell, grandmother Laura Carver, great grandmother Carol Gargus, many aunts & uncles and extended family. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at New Beginning Church of God, Fort Meade. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM at New Beginning Church of God. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
