Laura Martin Weeks

Fort Meade - Laura Martin Weeks, age 56, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024. She was born January 10, 1968 in Bartow, FL to Harold & Beverly Martin. Laura graduated from Fort Meade High School class of 1986. She was the Lunchroom manager at Fort Meade Middle-Senior High School for 23 years. She was a member of Calavary Baptist Church in Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by father Harold Martin, mother Beverly Moseley, step dad Kenneth Lee Moseley, Sr. and brother Andy Martin. Laura is survived by her husband of 38 years Ronald "Dean" Weeks Jr. of Fort Meade, three sons Jordan Weeks, Aaron Weeks and Hunter Weeks all of Fort Meade, granddaughter Riley Williams. Two brothers K.L Mosley & wife Heather of Mascotte, FL and Tony Gillian of Fort Meade, sister-in-law Julie Sturgis & husband Chet of Fort Meade, cousins Barbara Rentz Weaver and Leslie Stinson & husband Frank, nieces & nephews Madison Moseley, Kaiden Moseley, Bentley Moseley, Lacie Sturgis, Cole Sturgis, Hannah Gillan, Hailey Gillan, Hollie Gillan and Karen Gillan. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
