Laura Carolyn Cain

Mrs. Laura Carolyn Cain, age 78, died of respiratory failure, Sunday, November 28, 2010. Born January 18, 1932 in Waycross, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Morgan and Laura Ruth (Adams) Capps. Mrs. Cain was a homemaker and a member of McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church of Bartow. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 53 years, Stan Cain, her son Rick Cain and wife Bonnie of Tulsa, OK, her daughter Deitra Johnson of Lakeland, two sisters; Billie Catherine Verrett of Savannah, GA, and Charlotte Ann Clark of Brunswick, GA. She also leaves behind three grandchildren; Amy Lyon, Heather Kerr, Drew Johnson, and four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 30th at 11:00am at McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church, 695 W. Stuart St., Bartow, FL 33830. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the same address.
