Larry Michiel Gunter

Larry Michiel Gunter, 67, of Fort Meade, FL, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at his residence. Larry was born October 25, 1942 in Wauchula, FL. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a member of the Fort Meade Masonic Lodge since 1970. He worked for Estech/US Agri-Chem as a Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor for over 30 years. Mr. Gunter was a Family Man. He was an avid Fisherman & Hunter. He is survived by his Daughter; Deanna "Dee Dee" & husband Tiny Upthegrove of Fort Meade. Two Sons; Michael & wife Sarah Gunter and Lance & Mendy Gunter both of Bartow. Brother; Billy & wife Elizabeth Gunter of Fort Meade. Three Sisters; Susan & husband Jimmy Cotton of Fort Meade, Kathy & husband Clifford Smith of Daytona Beach and Mary Helen & husband Joe Loadholtes of Sharpsburg, GA. Eight Grandchildren; Colby Upthegrove, Destiny Upthegrove, Zack Upthegrove, Brooke Upthegrove, Noah Gunter, Cody Gunter, Blake Gunter and Brantley Gunter. Two Great Grandchildren; Reagan Upthegrove and Tye Thomas. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL. The Family will receive friends Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 10 to 11 AM at the First Church of God. Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 2, 2010, 11:00 AM at First Church of God, 215 S.
