Larry A. De Veer

Lakeland- Larry A. de Veer, age 78, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home in Lakeland. Born December 5, 1942 in Opelousas, LA., he was the son of the late Clifford Landry and Mildred (Melancon) de Veer. Larry was veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a longtime Manager for Equipment Service Inc. in Lakeland. He also was a longtime member of the Heart of the Father Ministry in Lakeland. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Alice Wynette de Veer, his brother, Clifford de Veer, Jr. and his twin brother, Bobby de Veer. Larry is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Jason de Veer (Jessica) of Lakeland, April Cruz (Orlando) of Gonzalez, LA and his brother Roy de Veer (Cathy) of Prairieville, LA. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Faye Doppelheuer (Claude), her grandchildren: Sophia, Jazlynn, Gwen, Ford, George, Kayla, Kimberly and Cody. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00am at the Heart of the Father Ministry, 2025 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801
