Kristie Ann Ward 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on January 8, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Her devotion and her firm belief in God supported her along with her family in this journey giving her ultimate peace. Kristie was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Born march 21, 1966 in Hoopeston, Illinois to Orlis and Barbara Roberts, and married James R. Ward Jr. on July 15, 2005. She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Roberts and is survived by her loving husband James R. Ward Jr. of Lakeland, FL. her father, Orlis Roberts of Haines City, Florida, her beloved son, Kristopher Ray Moore of Haines City and grandson, Jackson Ray Moore also of Haines City. 3 sisters, Debbra Nussell  (Mike), Stefanie Rian (Scott) and Staci Roark (Danny) of Bristol, Virginia. She was an extremely devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, Megan Rian, Brittany Fuller (Jason)Briana Nussell, Michael Nussell, Michael  Kannon (Sara), William and Ethan Craven in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kristie, was a graduate of JJ Kelly High School in Wise, VA, Class of 1984, and moved to Florida in 1986, where she worked for her parents business. She was the office manager/Book keeper for Prince Land Services from 1997-2015. Kristie loved to read, enjoyed being outside and loved the beach. most of all she loved the time spent with her family especially her husband, son and grandson. Kristie and Jimmy enjoyed their evening Sun Sets on their dock together. Friends, family and those whose lives Kristie touched are invited to join the family  on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.  at Central Church of Christ 142 Ave C SW, Winter Haven FL 3388 where funeral services are being held. Visitation will take place one hour prior. Burial will follow at Gandy Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
