Lakeland - Kenneth "Bubba" Goins Sr., age 80, passed away August 2, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Health. He was born on August 8, 1940, in Guntersville, AL. He was a Truck Driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Goins, son Anthony Yates, sisters Ethel Kirchoff, Bonnie Williams, Ruth Howz and Martha Hill, He was survived by a loving family that includes his sons Matt Goins (Lisa) of Coleman, AL, Kenneth Goins, Jr. (Konda) of Guntersville, AL, Alex Goins (Loretta Dunkleberger) of Lakeland, FL, Shane Goins of Saint Petersburg, FL, sisters Kaye Ewaniuk of Lakeland, FL, Flo Goins of Winter Haven, FL, Faye Goins (Paul) of Bartow, FL, Loretta Mervis (Allan) of Winter Haven, FL, Theresa Brinsley (Michael) of Winter Haven, FL, step brother Cecil Goins of Granberry, TX, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
