Kenneth E. Cribbs

Kenneth E. Cribbs, age 78, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Auburndale. Born July 28, 1937 in Mulberry he was the son of the late James Earl and Josephine (Gay) Cribbs. Kenneth worked as a welder and a layout man in the steel fabrication industry for many years. Mr. Cribbs was a member of Faith Community Church in Bartow and also a member of the Boilermaker's Union out of Tampa. Kenneth is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Gladys "Nell" Cribbs of Bartow, his four children: Donna Horn (Jimmy) of Bartow, Steven Eugene Cribbs (Elke) of Port Orchard, WA, Cindy Whitaker of Bartow, and Mike Cribbs (Jeannie) of Asheville, NC. Mr. Cribbs also leaves behind eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 17th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
