Kathryn Spires Gay

Kathryn Spires Gay, age 81, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022. She was born February 24, 1941, in Sparks, GA to J.B. & Essie Spires. Kathy was a Clerk for Ben Hill Griffin for many years. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Felton Gay, son, Danny "Randy" Eagan, II., daughters: Sondra Myers and Sherrie Gay along with her siblings: Lula Williams, Julian Spires, Herbert Spires and Myrtice Jackson. She is survived by a loving family that includes her stepchildren: Debbie Gay of Port Saint Joe, FL, Karen Wood (Ed) of Port Saint Joe, FL and Stephen Gay (Kim) of Lake Wales. She also leaves behind her sisters: Doris Plymel of East Lake, OH, Nell Love (Dennis) of Bartow, Wanda Buchanan of West Palm Beach, FL along with eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10:30 am at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade
