Kathleen Hudson Tyson

Kathleen Hudson Tyson, age 88, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Bartow. Born January 12, 1934, in Toombs County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert D. Hudson and Lucille (Amerson) Hudson. Mrs. Tyson was a school bus driver for the Polk County School Board for 32 years. Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Tyson, Sr., her sons: Clyde Tyson, Jr., Gilbert W. Tyson, her sisters: Dovie Eiland, Evelyn Hagler and her granddaughter: Shannon Tyson. She is survived by a loving family that includes her sons: Randall W. Tyson, Allen Keith Tyson, her stepdaughter Pamela Tyson along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20th from 9am to10am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment and Committal services will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
