Katherine Earley

Bartow- Katherine D. Earley, 88, of Bartow, died Saturday, Nov 24, 2007, of respiratory failure, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Earley has been a resident of Bartow over 60 yrs, moving from Columbia. She was a sales clerk in the men's dept at Belk Lindsey Department Store of Bartow for over 20 yrs. She was a member of the Bartow First Presbyterian Church, formerly a Sunday school teacher & pianist at McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church of Bartow. She was a member of the Bartow Memorial Hospital Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 yrs, Jeff D. Earley. She is survived by 2 sons: Steve & wife Sandra Earley of Bartow; Jeff & wife Tina Earley of Lakeland; 2 daughters: Katherine Ann & husband Charles Arnold, Bartow; Janie & husband Tim Albin, Bartow. 1 brother: George & wife Lorine Davis of Columbia, S.C; 6 grandchildren: Matt & wife Trisha Arnold of La Belle; Amy & husband Keith Gunter of Fort Meade; Tal & wife Angie Strickland, US Air Force, Japan; Toni Strickland, Bartow; Jeffrey Earley & Amber Earley both of Lakeland. 3 Great Grandchildren: Trey Gunter of Fort Meade; Jacob Stephens & Krystle Weems both of La Belle. Family will receive friends Monday , Nov 26, 6-8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main Street, Bartow.
